Absolutely. Between email, chat, Skype™ or telephone calls we can work everything out. And seriously, I love to travel, so maybe we can meet in person.
I like your design but I probably can't afford it. I'm an artist / small gallery!
Think about what you can't afford. Can you afford not having a good website? Do you need cards / a catalogue for your exhibit? Will Cousin Franz, your intern or your weekend InDesign course really do the job you need? I'm flexible and fair with pricing. I know what I'm worth, but I also know money can be tough in this field. And I sometimes work in partial trade for artwork.

Okay, I typically charge between 15 and 30 EUR per hour, depending on the type, scale and duration of project and client relationship. Usually I set a flat fee based on my estimate of hours for the project. A basic website design will probably cost between 400 and 600 EUR. A postcard: 60 to 100 EUR. A 20 page booklet around 400 EUR. Please understand, these are just estimates. Pricing is based on a lot of factors.
How long will it take before my site / catalogue is designed and ready?
Once I get everything I need from you, it typically takes 30 to 50 hours of work to design a medium sized website or catalogue / booklet. That means ideally within 2 weeks after our planning and concepting you can be online or your work at the printer. And yes, I can do rush projects. It's Monday and you need printed cards for your exhibition by Friday night? Let's go!
Will you help me with website hosting / domain registration / printing?
Certainly. I've been in this business long enough to have excellent connections and solutions in lots of places. I'll help you take care of everything.
What about website updates? Do long term clients get a better rate?
We'll work out a plan for updates. Small updates (e.g. News or Current Exhibit) are usually included in the initial fee or provided at minor cost. Continuing business is important to me. Yes, I make even better deals for the assurance of a lasting working relationship. I have several clients I have been working with for years.
I'm not an artist, nor a gallery. Will you still work with me anyway?
I specialise and focus on the art field, but have a lot of experience and interest in many other areas. Talk to me about your project. If it's not something for me, I can probably find someone who will help you.
