An exhibit of exaggerative, vibrant works of various medium and presentation, Underwood activates the space with wall hangings, floor pieces, and installation. Her work is an adventure into the absurd, a childish musing, and an exploration of bending convention. This is an experience full of color, shape, texture, and a generous sense of wit.

The reception featured live music coordinated by Tyson Rogers. Because of problems with his keyboard, Tyson had to resort to the closet possible piano instrument-- that being an accordian loaned us from Tim at Gallery Oni! Tyson's set was excellent regardless!

At the same time as the opening at INSEKT, the new Oni Gallery was having its first show and reception next door. Coordinating the two exhibits and receptions proved to bring large numbers of people of a varied calling. There was a constant flux and stream of interesting people and artists flowing between the two spaces all evening.
