Thien Mu Pagoda. Hue, Vietnam. Jan 2001. 16 Dec 00 - 17 January 01. Bangkok Thailand. Floating Markets, City Streets, Temples, and the dreaded magnetic Khao San Road. Xmas in Ko Chang, gulf of Thailand. Overland across Cambodia by truck, bus, and boat. Overnight in Battambang. Boat to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat ruins in the jungle. 32 hour overnight cargo boat to Phnom Pehn. Saigon to Hanoi via three overnight trains in Vietnam. Stays in coastal Nha Trang, imperial Hue, and a trip to the scarred DMZ. Water puppets, the old quarter, and Apocalypse Now in Hanoi.
