SAN FRANCISCO / BIG SUR - Oct 2000

In the fall of 2000 I took a week off from work and flew out to San Francisco to visit some friends and finally get to drive down the Pacific Coast Highway all the way to Big Sur. I even visited the Henry Miller Library and got to see some really old editions of some of Miller's books. Very good things. San Francisco is always a treat... riding the MUNI buses, walking the streets, book and music shopping, and dining. And then there is Noc-Noc on Haight street too, which is not to be missed. It's all about having some Sake and sitting on the floor under the purplish, red glow, with an old airplane fuselage built into the wall and ceiling.

At an especially gorgeous scenic overview. Big Sur, California.

Neon, Magnetic Chinatown, San Francisco.

Chinatown San Francisco w/ Transamerica building.

Down by Ocean Beach.
